The Allergen Card

Picture this - someone asks what you're allergic to and you hand them a card. You don't have to repeat the same don't have to give them the same spiel you've said a thousand times and gotten sick of.

The idea is you put your allergies on a card and print it out. When someone asks about them, you have it stored in your wallet or purse and can just share it out.

I just made one for the first time. You can print an actual business card or if you want a cheap method, you can do it yourself.

My DIY process:

• Create two images with dimensions of 3.5" x 2.0" or images with that scale (one will be the front and one the back)

• Googling "allergy card" and looking at images can give you a good starting point, but feel free to put your own spin on it (mine is less intense than the examples I see)

• Add you allergens to one or both sides of the card (I put my name on one side and allergens on the other)

• Print the images in 3.5" x 2.0" (you can print multiple on one page)

• Cut out the images and glue to a thin layer of cardboard so it's more versatile
